Passengers will now have four additional weekly flights on the Madrid-Bogota route, operating on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The airline will add two additional frequencies to its operation to Cali, on Wednesday and Saturday. Also, travelers flying between Madrid and Medellin will have access to one additional flight frequency on Tuesday.
Including these new frequencies, the airline will offer 18 weekly flights from Madrid to Bogota, one daily flight to Cali and three weekly flights to Medellin, al direct and non-stop. Seven weekly flights between Barcelona and Bogota will also be added to this offer, resulting in more than 17,500 weekly seats between both countries.
These new frequencies will be operated by modern Boeing 787 aircraft, with a capacity for 250 passengers, 28 in business class and 222 in economy class, combining comfort, space and performance, as well as the most advanced aeronautic technology available.
By expanding its flight offer, Europe – Latin America connectivity is strengthened. Travelers from the Spanish capital will have more option to connect to more 100 destinations serviced by Avianca within Colombian and American capitals.
